I think M$ has really come to realize things like RoR can make a big impact. You need to listen and take care of the people that use your products and pay for them, or else they will stray off to something more cutting edge and innovative that makes their work easier. Hopefully this is all real and they keep following these ideas and methology's to get people more productive. I guess I am in hope it is changing.
